I do the same. Every Sunday before church I go to the Singapore Food Stall at Mercury Plaza off K Rd and order the Mee Goreng. Always the Mee Goreng. It is the best Mee Goreng I have ever tasted, and only $7.50. I have been eating it since 1997.

Yeah, whenever I get a kebab I always get the same sauces (tahini, yoghurt and mint)... I used to go to KFC every Friday night and get a bucket of chicken, it got to the point where they knew what I wanted the moment I walked in the door. Mmmm trans fats :( Now I get sushi :P

Vanilla? I am sure I was quite clear I prefer the chocolate :p

Besides which, I do try new things when the mood takes me. Fried Okra, for example (ick).

How many New Zealanders can say they went to a gay party at the only nude beach in the heart of Texas? Not many, if any :p

This is very interesting.

I must say that I don't really eat out often enough at the same place to get this... probably apart from the little trolley operated breakfast place at the corner of the alley, downstairs from where I used to live before we moved to Auckland.

Even then, I like to experiment in most places I go :P

But this is very very interesting :-)

Aah...the lengths we will go to for a little extra ham. :)

I too am a creature of habit. I ate the same lunch for well over 2 years.

I know what you mean about connections. It's amazing how special these little nods and chats become.

I do hear you on the buying food from the same places thing though. The indian guy at the 7-11 down from one of the apartments used to recognise me all the time, because i'd go there ever day..
